Dr Agnes Risko is an Ophthalmologist that operates in the Boksburg area. She is a highly-trained eye physician and surgeon, and specialises in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the eye, in addition to diagnosing signs or symptoms of systemic disease that manifest in eye.
Dr Agnes preforms approximately 1 000 pro bono cataract operations a year.
The Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn, together with the Rotary Club of Boksburg Lake and the Lions Club of Benoni Van Ryn, were able to donate R 20 000 towards to procurement of lenses and sutures. We are pleased that this donation will enable Dr Agnes to perform more of her magic procedures.
