We, the Club of Benoni Van Ryn, are very proud of our Past President's grandson, Jonathan Bath (14 years old & previous scholar of St Dunstans College, Benoni. His family immigrated to Canada in 2019), who has embarked on raising funds for the people who find themselves without the bare necessities in South Africa. Jonathan has partnered with the Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn, together with the support of the Rotary Club of West Vancouver Sunrise, Canada.
Jonathan is imploring everyone to follow the link gofundme and donate towards his fundraiser. All funds will be used to provide those in need with food parcels. He is aiming to raise at least $ 3000 (R 40 000), and for every $ 10 (R 140) donated he has pledged to walk his dog, Amber, for 0.5km. With the funds raised so far, he has walked Amber 15km so far.
